PC Ryan Pointon (27/02/94), who was a student officer based on the City of Manchester district, has been charged with sexual assault and is set to appear at Manchester and Salford Magistrates Court on Wednesday 16 March 2022.
The officer has been suspended from active duty.
Misconduct proceedings will recommence upon conclusion of criminal proceedings.
