Firefighters were called after yet another fire being started in the old depot area within Buile Hill Park this evening.
The incident has caused minor delays on the section of the A576 Eccles Old Rd which faces the park, due to hoses being stretched across the carriageway to help put out the flames.
We are told that the fire has been brought under control.
It is thought that no one has been injured and as yet the cause of the fire has not been determined.
The road is still passable in both directions with care.
