The council say that as from Monday 8th August, for approximately one week, there will be a temporary road closure in place on A576 Broughton Road, Salford.

The road closure is required following a recent carriageway collapse.

United Utilities are to undertake consequential damage which was caused by a recent water main repair they undertook.

The closure will be from the junction of Broad street A6 to approximately Gloucester Street.

Traffic traveling on the A6 and the A580 Manchester bound will be diverted to the next junction Frederick Road.
